F.I.T. - Friday In Training
Friday In Training is WinCAM’s new class schedule. These training sessions will be held in the WinCAM studio Fridays from 5:30-7:00pm. The class will be fun, relaxed and social. Refreshments will be provided as well.
You will still be able to set times with WinCAM staff for one on one training sessions in all production areas.
Full Studio Production Class
This class will provide you with all the knowledge you will need to produce a studio shoot. You will learn everything from studio lighting, complex audio, computer graphics, live switching and set design. This will be a very active social class that members old and new should check out.

Future Classes:
Green Screen
A Green Screen is exactly what it sounds like; with it we can remove the background image and replace it with any images moving or still. Learn how to manipulate the green screen to create interesting effects and professional back drops.
Digital Still Photography
Do you feel you aren’t getting the most out of your personal digital still camera? Well check out this class for instruction on how to take more professional photographs. You will various techniques to capture quality images in any situation. Feel free to bring your personal still camera so we can help you with your specific model.
Digital Camera
This class will teach you all about shooting high quality footage in the field with various digital video cameras. We will use Standard Definition and High Definition cameras in this class. We will explore the positives and negatives of shooting on tape or recording to internal memory. Similar to the Digital Still Photography class, we will help you with your own home camera or one of the many varieties of cameras we have at the station.
Field Lighting
Lighting is easy to achieve in the comforts of the studio where every source is controllable. In the field is a different story. Windows, harsh sun, mixed light, and deep shadows are all enemies of the quality video shoot. Learn about illuminating your subjects outside of the studio in unpredictable environments using WinCAM’s the new lighting kits and other tools to help control the lighting in even the most difficult situations.
Posting Videos To The Web
You have completed your brilliant video and now you need to show the world. Come to this class to learn how to quickly post your WinCAM show to various media websites including; PegMedia.org, YouTube, Blip.tv, and Vimeo. Uploading your project to PegMedia.org will allow other access stations to download and play it on their station.
