Julia Ripa, Community Relations Coordinator

I started at WinCAM as a student and volunteer, then was fortunate enough to become the Community Relations Coordinator in November 2002.

I graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a degree in Marketing and International Business and a postgraduate degree in Software Technical Writing. After several positions within the software publishing world, I decided to pursue my passion for photography and very quickly came to appreciate television production.

I live in Winchester with my son Luke Scondras.

My first week here, I was thrown into the role of "host" for the WinCAM Santa show, and despite my initial inhibitions, I really did enjoy it . It was a great thrill seeing how the whole crew of volunteers worked together to put on a professional presentation. It was very gratifying.

I would encourage all the residents of Winchester to come on down and join in the fun. It really is a blast!
