The suite is based around the Final Cut Pro 4 software running on a duel 1 gig G4 mac with OS 10.3 operating system. This is the same system that a professional production
facility would be using. Two large flat panel LCD monitors create a spacious digital workspace for producers. We store the digital media on one of six 40 gig external firewire drives, (thats enough for 2.5
hours of video information on one drive!!). We use a Mackie 8 channel audio board and Sony DSR-40 DvCAM deck for capturing to the computer and mastering back to tape. Other software found on the system is
Photoshop Elements for Graphics, Digital Juice Animation Processing Software, Boris Fx 5.0, iDVD for DVD creation in the built in Apple Supper Drive. |
